This is one of my favorite things to look at. Not because of the feet - I´m not a foot person. I found it in a magazine years ago (I was in my late teens, so when I say years ago I mean it). It´s been hanging in my office in one form or another for years. The edges are torn from all the moves but I always have it where I can see it.
I usually turn to it when I´m pulling a hectic work stretch... 8-11 hours of typing a day. Don´t think pinterest, facebook or email here. This is straightforward typing till my wrists ache. Sometimes I have those days... and in those days this is my picture. At this point it´s been so long that I don't even really have a thought process with it, it´s just there... reminding me that relaxation is just a bend in the road away. That there is always a prize for hard work, and usually stretching my legs and propping them up is the most delicious reward of all.
This post comes to you from one of these stretches of work. It´s a 10 day project when I´m working to my limit... and scheduling (yes, it can be done) this post so you still get a look into my life. We bloggers are a weird community that think people actually want to read about our lives. So here you have it.
Speaking of sand, 2 weeks ago my sister and nephew came to visit and I still haven´t had the time to work on those photos, but here´s an overview of what happened...
a lot of this...
new friendships that led to this...
and a lot of fun!
With this smile I wish you a great weekend!
I´ll be typing my way to relaxation around the bend.
