My Paris Trip - the yummy side of Paris (7/7)

So... food in Paris. We.ate.a.lot. Besides not having a wallet for such spending, we're not fancy restaurant people, so I can't give an opinion on the restaurant, 10 courses + wine selection food. I can, however, show you how well we ate tidbits of amazing (and sometimes not so amazing) taste.

My main sources for eating in Paris were David Lebovitz and Paris By Mouth. I highly recommend their suggestions, we did not follow everything they suggested (one trip wouldn't be enough), but what we found time to do was great. And no, they don't know I just said that, it's just honest admiration for their suggestions.

Ice cream at Berthillon. Not the best in the world, but good.

Madeleines at blé sucré. Awesome. I felt like eating everything they had.

Mini pastries at Carette. I didn't like the taste, but they are soooo cute! We ate them while admiring quite a view...

Maison George Larnicol has the best chocolates I ate in Paris, also the best Kouign amann. Lucas can attest to that because I didn´t eat it. I will say that I thought their macarons were horrible. We literally threw them out. But we came back for chocolate several times...

Crepes on the street. Pretty good.

Breatkfast in the apartment. I absolutely love Twinings and Europe has a great selection of flavors (here we only find about 5.

The best macaron I ate... I´m very sorry I only bought 3.

Pizza on Champs Élysées. Being a Brazilian and living in a city where people eat a LOT of pizza, and there are many, many good options, I have to admit that it takes a lot for a pizza to wow me. This one was a bit below average. The people watching was great, though.

Awesome, awesome quiche. Great tea from Comptoirs Richard.

I saved the best for last. Haagen Dazs restaurant. We went 3 times... awesome. I have to words to say how much I love their ice-cream.

Well, we have wrapped up Paris. This week things go back to normal (aka not travelling) life. I have so many recipes and pictures to share I don't know where to start. :)

Have a great week!
